Dear Sisters and Brothers,

What an excellent time we have had during the month of October.  It began with the Worthy Grand Patron and I attending the annual event of the Coushatta “Caring and Sharing” evening.  It was an outstanding gathering of many distinguished guests, including the Grand Master of Louisiana.  We all appreciated the beautiful charitable donations that were made to the various functions of our Masonic bodies.  On behalf of Louisiana OES, we extend our many and sincere thanks once again to the members of the various Masonic groups in Coushatta for this heartwarming and overwhelming experience.

A total of six Louisiana members enjoyed attending the Grand Chapter of Missouri, including our Grand Representative of Missouri in Louisiana.

We had a wonderful representation of 41 Louisiana members who traveled to Oklahoma to attend the Homecoming of our Most Worthy Grand Matron, Sister Barbara Benton and also Oklahoma’s Grand Chapter.  At the same time, our Worthy Grand Patron, Brother Roy and Sister Lynn, were attending the Grand Chapter of Alabama, along with the Grand Representative of Alabama in Louisiana and another Louisiana member.  It was great that Louisiana was represented at these two States.  Thanks to all!

Our appreciation to those who have extended us an invitation for a Courtesy Visit to their lovely chapters.  We are certainly enjoying all of them with lots of fellowship, friendship, love and many smiles!

Congratulations to the District Deputy Grand Matrons who prepared for the Official Visits during the month of October.  On behalf of the Grand Family, we thank you for all the courtesies extended to everyone and we look forward to the ones still remaining.
