Aloha!  Sisters and Brothers,

We had a total of 39 who traveled to Hawaii for a beautiful fun-filled week.  There were three elective officers including our Grand Secretary, Associate Grand Conductress and myself; one General Grand Chapter Committee Member, five appointive Grand Officers including our Chaplain, Marshal, Adah, Esther and Sentinel, several Grand Representatives and 7 non-members.  We flew to Honolulu and then cruised five beautiful Hawaiian Islands before returning home.  The highlight of our trip was attending a traditional Luau with our own Most Worthy Grand Matron, Sister Barbara Benton and Most Worthy Grand Patron, Brother Bill Owen, along with several other General Grand Officers.  We all thank you for your prayers as we had a wonderful time and safe trip home.

Our Official Visits are now complete and a great big congratulations to the “31” members who attended all 20!  Congratulations also to the “9” who made all but “1”.   What a marvelous attendance we have had at our visits - thanks to YOU we had 100+ at each.  Brother Roy and I extend our many thanks to everyone who attended at least one Official Visit and to those who made it all the way to the 20!  Your love for our beautiful Order and your dedication has certainly been proven.  We say thanks once again to all the District Deputy Grand Matrons for arranging and providing these wonderful afternoons and evenings.  The entire Grand Family extends their many thanks and appreciation to each of you!

Word has finally been received that Louisiana won possession of the beautiful LA/ARK Boot Trophy, made by Brother Harold Carlisle, PGP, by a total of 59 to 56!  We get to keep it for now; however, Arkansas has stated that they plan to work harder for it next year!

Looking forward to the months ahead of us as the hard working State Chairmen, District Chairmen and the committee members begin the preparations of their various committees and projects for our Grand Chapter Session.  Love and appreciate all of you!
