Dear Sisters and Brothers,

It’s countdown - 3 Official Visits down with only 17 more to go!  The month of July was the beginning of our Official Visits, kicking off with District 15, home of our Worthy Grand Patron, being first.  Our sincere thanks to the District Deputy Grand Matrons and all their workers for their preparation of these outstanding visits.

Brother Roy and I have been able to make several Courtesy Visits throughout the State which have been extremely enjoyable and we thank you again for the special invitations to join you for these relaxed evenings of fellowship and fun.

Our thanks to all who were able to be with us for the LA/MS Exchange Visit.  The “Luau” in Ferriday was enjoyed by all 125 of us.  There was lots of fun, smiles and laughter but unfortunately I failed to work that hula hoop!  The Beach Party in Mississippi, with approximately 100 members present, was just as much fun with our Worthy Grand Patron doing an excellent job on his imaginary surf board!

Since the DeMolay State Conclave was held during the same time as the Exchange Visit, our Associate Grand Matron, Sister Juanita Wilkinson was gracious in bringing greetings on behalf of myself and for our Louisiana Eastern Star.

Brother Roy and I look forward to seeing you whenever and wherever you can join us!

Star Love & Miles of Smiles,

                                                                                Diane Smith
