Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Words
cannot begin to express how honored I am to have been installed and now serving
as your Worthy Grand Matron for the 109th “Smile A While” Year. From the bottom of my heart, I thank each of
you, every member of our wonderful Order, for this privilege. I solicit your prayers, love and support as
we work together this year and hope, with the grace of God, to fulfill my
dreams along with all your expectations of me.
Only by working together as “one” can we strive to build, create and
accomplish the projects that will hopefully be beneficial to us all.
Our
Worthy Grand Patron, Brother Roy, and I would like to express our sincere
thanks and appreciation to all who took part and helped, in any way, in our
beautiful Installation ceremony. Everything was just perfect and certainly an
evening that will be cherished forever.
We would also like to extend our love and appreciation to our Grand
Family for accepting their Grand Office appointments, elected or appointed, as
we look forward to working with you and having each of you with us as we travel
this happy road together. Our special
congratulations to the newly elected officers, Brother Mert Mestler, AGP and
Sister Myra Ramsey, AGC and to our new Board Member, Sister Sandy Rogers,
PM-Board of Fraternal Assistance-Central Section. Welcome aboard!
Best
Wishes to our District Deputy Grand Matrons as they make their official visits
and also to our Grand Supervisors as they conduct their Schools of
Instruction. Let’s all strive to be as
proficient as possible and enjoy our beautiful ritualistic work.
We
hope you will participate in the projects we have planned for the year and will
enjoy them. We hope to promote Peace
and Harmony with lots of Love, Laughs and Smiles. Always remember to “Share A Smile” and “Smile A While”.
Star Love & Miles of Smiles,
Diane Smith
Worthy Grand Matron
